We arrived Home Early from our vacation, like 5am early. And thankfully the kids all slept until 11am. It was a very lazy day. Dale got out of Bed early to go get 'milk'. Which ended up being a Birthday Run. He brought home a Starbucks Frappacino Blended Creme, Chocolate Cake, and my favorite... an itunes card. I am not sure why he buys them for me. His credit card is on my account, but I love adding the card to my account, and thoughtfully search what I will spend my $20 on.
Dale also took Mahlon to the dollar store, where they purchased some more birthday items. A pack of scrubbers, and a flexible cutting mat. So thoughtful, and as Dale pointed out I can watch him use the scrubbers. nice. Mahlon bought some streamers and bows so he (which ended up being the neighbourhood kids) could decorate my car. So thoughtful.
If you look on the lights you'll see some pretty Bows!!
Then Mahlon & I went for a ride. He was super excited!!! And I wasn't embarrassed at all.
Mahlon wanted to take me out and buy me a hitch for my Birthday. He was willing to use all the Canadian Tire money he has been saving. love him!!
I love my Birthday, it's a day I get to be a total brat. how is that different than any other day??? Everyone had to kinda endure it. too much fun!!

Happy Birthday Anne!!! So glad you had such a happy day and so much fun!!! I wish we lived closer, you are always at the center of fun! But of course.
(Did I miss a post on you getting a new car? For some reason I thought you had a minivan...I must have missed something.)
We bought the SUV in the spring. We out grew the van!! Mahlon now has to be in a car seat until he is 9(new BC law),& the two girls are in their cars seats. 3 car seats for at least 2 more years. Plus, we always have too much cargo(party on the go!), and we needed more trunk space. So we made the plunge. I love it beyond anything. I didn't blog about it because I get too much grief for it.
