The Last day of the Open House is this Saturday, April 23, 2010.
It has been an amazing experience to be a part of the Open House. I have met some wonderful people. I've have made new friends, and even have seen old friends. My greatest memory will be of those guests walking in to the Celestial Room, and having their breath Taken away. As Elder Christensen(our Area Authority) Explains, The Celestial Room is our expression of Man made materials to reflect the love, joy and peace that would come to being in Our Fathers Presence. It is a simple room, but yet with untold elegance. And as I have had the opportunity to watch hundreds of people enter that room. What joy it is to share that experience with strangers, and yet my heart turns to family and friends and the feelings of past, present and future that I am able to share the experience of the Celestial Room with them. My heart is full of Gratitude for the Temple today, and in eleven days we will have an operating temple minutes away.

Anne, How wonderful to be so close to the Lord's HOuse. To take the youth, be sealed as a family and have Celestial marriages preformed. I am sure you will take advange of the Temple.. All the best.
