Dale who????

Tonight was the Night; I left my husband...well for 90 minutes at least.



I Love INXS. I always have. It seemed to be my mood music for most of my teenage years. I was very sad in November 1997 when Michael Hutchence, the lead singer, committed suicide. And I was unsure if they would ever recover as a band. Well was I wrong.

Last summer INXS has a reality TV show Rock Star:INXS . Where, they were going to choose a new lead singer for their Band. I loved it. They eventually chose Canadian JD Fortune to Front their Band. Which I was not totally sold until they released their first single “Pretty Vegas”. I am now totally converted to JD Fortune.

For Our anniversary Dale bought me INXS tickets. And Although I last saw them March 1991, yes that’s 15 years ago, with Michael Hutchence, and if he can’t be here, well JD really is the next best thing.

There were all ages at the show, from very young (Which I would NOT suggest) to particularly older (a nice way of saying 50+) scantily dressed ladies. Very creepy indeed. BUT it was Awesome!!! I loved it from beginning to end. They played lots from their New Album “Switch”. And plenty of their older stuff, but they updated it. It was very cool.

They best part of the show was at one point JD Fortune left the stage and walked in to the crowd, and ended up in our Aisle, and stopped at our Row. It was so cool he was 12 seats away.

I had a great time; I loved every minute of it. And Dale put up with me nicely, Poor Guy. You just gotta love him!
