I am so often asked why I love it out here. I am not really sure how to put it in words, Its something you have to experience. And Its not for everyone, right Mom! But I love it here in BC. I loved Living on the prairies, but for different reasons. I mostly miss my friends, and after I finish with reading their blogs, getting a random e-mail from someone out east, or checking out facebook, I am homesick (first I never thought would refer to MB as home, so there you go!) But today I had a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to have Baely, Corbins friend from MB, stay with us for a few days. And it was fun to watch them play, they just played like no time had gone by. But we had to return Baely back to his Grandma's today in Squamish. And on our way there Bailey was talking about how he was so excited to go to church tomorrow. How he liked the pastor, and was so looking forward to going to church as they would be excited to see him when he was there visiting his Grandma.**As a side note: that is great for me to remember for my Primary calling!** Later Corbin was talking about how Baely was looking forward to going to Church, as how his new friends are always asking him "Why" he goes. I am so thankful for the community we lived In, And the friends my children had there. I hope they can find friends here that will help them live a faith centred life. And if I regret anything, that is it, leaving The Strong Christian Community that we came from. But out here our Challenges are just different. So that is my one regret from leaving.
As to why we love it out here, the following Pictures just don't give it justice. But this is the Sea to Sky Highway, from West Vancouver to Whistler. I absolutely loved it today. It was way to long in the car, but I loved it. And it was overcast & raining, I can't even imagine it on a sunny day. Even the kids perked up in the car as they watched us pass through this very beautiful stretch of highway. Tonight I feel truly blessed. Again way to many photos, but I can't resist!

The pictures make me miss B.C.
I can;t believe it has been over 3 years since we have been there. I really want to go back and visit. I miss the beauty and the peace on Salt Spring.
