Okay people always assume because I have lots of kids I know what I'm doing. Ummm No.
Today's lesson was, When in the shower with your 8 week old baby, skip the conditioner.
I usually bath Tirzah at night, and when it's hot I like to jump into the shower to cool off at night, well the past little while I have combining the two. And it has worked out well. Last night I skipped her bath, thinking I could move the evening routine to the morning. Except i forgot to factor in the whole i need to wash my own hair. 2 things: first I put the shampoo directly onto my hair, no problem. Conditioner was left upside down so I think I emptied the bottle onto my hair, Second, just so you know Conditioner makes babies slippery. No one was hurt in my moment of vanity, but Lesson Learned!

I was always afraid of showering with my babies because of that. Scott showered with Adler a lot as a baby and it worked well for him. I am just a chicken add a bit clumsy and together I would have a disaster on my hands.
I am SO GLAD that nobody was hurt.
That is just too funny! Sometimes we need that light bulb experience to humble us to remember we are just human. glad to hear no one got hurt
I would take Wellsy in with me and wash him up and then call for Mark and he'd come get him. Then I'd jump out,dry off and get him dressed, then me.
although, now that he's older and sometimes mark isn't around to help, he sits on the bottom of the tub and waits for me to be done.
they to get slippery, but we haven't dropped him yet.

You are not alone. I, too, have showered with my babies and almost dropped each one of them. We'll just have to be stripped of our Mother of the Year Awards together.
You can add me to the list, I've showered with babies too, it's the only way I can get a shower sometimes. Being a mom means sometimes you there is a lack of time to shower.
I just got the birth annoucment for youir way too cute baby and it brighten my day. You sure are becoming the crafty lady, I love it hope you have a great holiday Love ya Tricia
