How Cuba Ruined Lunch.

The kids had a pro D day yesterday, That is BC talk for No school yet again! Seriously, My kids are never in school! But I am moving on...

So Dale took the day off work, and took the kiddies to MT Baker again.

As a side note, the Vancouver Sun is running a week long special in the paper asking "Are You Prepared?" and one of the scenarios are Mt Baker erupts, and for some reason the earthquake threats don't bother me as much, but when the fake scenario commercial plays on the TV about the volcano erupting, it makes me freak a bit.

So Last time Dale took the kids skiing they were how shall we say, ummm???....annoying.

They all needed a lot of attention from Dale, so this time he took a different approach. Bribery. He told Mahlon if he could keep up with him, and not stay on the bunny hill (do they even still call it that anymore??) he could have Dales Goggles. Mahloln was all over that. And eventually Mahlon was riding the Chair lift solo. He also went to the top of the mountain with Dale!!! So Brave my littleMan is!! Aphra got a snowboarding book, which gave her tips and things to practice, and that seemed to keep her occupied. So Dale had a much better Day, and He is looking forward to going again! Yeah!!

Also, This time Dale decided to pack a lunch rather than buy lunch on the hill. So he took some Oranges, and when they crossed the border into the USA they were confiscated, as the Border Patrol Guard said "It may have come into contact with a Cuban Orange." Someone need to bring these two countries together, even the oranges are suffering!!

I never knew I should be wary of Cuban citrus.
