I can't resist posting a picture of our new "tent". Our neighbors have a "tent" and it seemed a great way to get a little extra shade on our deck. The only problem/the best part about it is... it will drive my Dad crazy. Sorry Dad, I am so going to out you here.
After the deck was built we put the garden swing on the deck, which drove my dad crazy. He was worried about the swing hitting the pickets. not to worry, they are all still intact.
So after we survived the Swing, we added some plants, no deck rot yet.
And now we added the Sunshade. And not to worry Dad it is made of light weight aluminum, but yet surprisingly sturdy.
So while we were enjoying it the other night, we were also enjoying ourselves with what my Dad was going to say when we broke the news to him. Dale & Aphra won. (I didn't contribute, I would NEVER do anything like that)
