Today Corbin was playing with a boy from his class who he normally doesn't play with. And they asked if they asked if they could go play at his house. Corbin gave some random directions, and I agreed, and told him he didn't have long as he had to be home before it was totally dark, around 4:30 here, and off they went.
fast forward:
In walks Corbin..
Corbin: I was completely wrong about those directions.
Mom, slightly confused: huh?
Corbin, incoherent muttering: .... Harmony....
Mom: What about Harmony?? (FYI she is our neighbor, about 2 blocks away)
Corbin: She gave me a ride home
Mom: What??!! How did Harmony end up giving you a ride home??
Corbin: I was scared so I stopped at her house.
Mom: Why would you stop at Harmony's?? you know your way home from her house??
Corbin: I was scared.
Mom: of what??
Corbin: I didn't want to get eaten by a bear or a cougar or a wolf!!. So she said she would drive me home.
