Hooray For Summer!!!!!


This is now the Drive to my parents house!
It is the most beautiful drive, and heading south is even more breathtaking!
Sea to Sky Hwy
Beats the drive between Winnipeg & Saskatoon hands down.



I even have my own room, sometimes I have to share with dale though. The best part of the summer is that we get to see Dale as he either comes up here for the night or he can go home for some peace & quiet. When we were at Emma Lake we were gone for 6 weeks and we saw Dale 1/2 way through for 2 weeks!! I am surprised that he doesn't find my parents at our house when he gets home!!!



I've done my fair share of work!
We all pitched in to help build the patio.
We(mostly Dale & Michael) brought 4 pallets of Bricks
from the front to the back yard.
no easy task, as there is a steep grade to bring them up!!

Their record was 34bricks individually,
but together they could bring up 50 bricks.

Mahlon was the most willing worker,
he was the first one out of the house when
he heard the truck deliver the 4pallets
(did I mention there were 4 pallets & each carried 375 bricks)
and he was there until the bitter end!!!!
awesome!

But we are now enjoying our labors, even as I write!!!


We have enjoyed Alice Lake, a mere 10min drive from the house!

She loves to find and "borrow" toys from
other unsuspecting children who are nicely playing.

The docks are the favorite spot this year!
there are two at Alice lake, and Kezia is always
trying to get someone to take out there!!!
Shannon Falls is also another spot the kids love.
They like to climb way to high on the rocks!!
Kezia & Tirzah couldn't be left behind...
