A Few Halloween Goodies

A few little tid bits...

With the New Blanket of snow, I realized Corbin was going to have to get a new pair of boots. So we stopped by Zellers to pick of pair of boots. If in a rush I can do anything in less than 15 min, plus there was candy to be extorted from various homes. So we pick up a very cool pair of boots, problem with rush shopping, you always pay full price. No problem as he needed them for trick or treating as well as everyday, now that the snow is here to stay. Don't get me started. Anyway, after we pay or I guess I pay as no one else offered, ah hem Corbin. Corbin inquired how much his new boots cost. Usually when I get things at a good deal I am inclined to share, but paying full retail, forget it. So I tell him a million dollars, in my ever sarcastic voice. oops. So Corbin comes home for Lunch the following Day to tell me that he doesn't think I actually paid a million dollars for the boots, As houses don't even cost a million dollars, and I think to myself This child clearly hasn't checked out Vancouver real estate lately. Anyways, he is annoyed that I mislead him, blah blah blah... and I confess that I paid a much smaller sum than the originally confessed number. And I am going to try to resolve to stop being so sarcastic, some of the time. But that is not the end of the magic boots; Corbin comes home after school all excited/upset/concerned. Apparently another boy in his Class tried to steal his boots. But as "Andy" *name changed to protect my kid. Tried to leave the school with Corbins boots on and His boots in his hand, Corbin ran and tackled him. And according to Corbin this was all very necessary to get back the boots. What can I say? I would have tackled him too. I paid FULL RETAIL!!!!

For School, the kids got to dress up for an afternoon party for haloween, And apparently as creative as we get is to dress up as other family members... Aphra dressed up as Me, and I guess if you know me, she looked like me( But a way Cuter Version) I tried talking her into taking Kezia to the Party, but she wouldn't go for it. And Corbin dressed up as Aphra, right down to the pink fingernails. cute.
