So Finally Here It Is...

Dale recieved an offer of employment from another company.
The twist... it isn't here!

Where are we GOING??!!!!

We have known about this for quite some time and our worry was that our house wouldn't sell, as the housing in our small town has stalled and all the houses are just sitting. This was our number one concern, so we put our house up for sale to see what would happen. We fully expected it to sit for over a month... We were even priced it well over what the realtor thought we should. Well guess what?! It sold in 6 days. This was good news/bad news. At that point we hadn't secured the job, although he still does have a job with his current employer. And the new company has been actively pursuing him, so we weren't all that concerned, basicly we were just homeless come December 1, our worst case would be that we would have to rent something in the city, but not to worry all plans are a go, and we are on our way, kinda.

Dale was out in Vancouver in this past weekend checking things out, one of our options is to rent an apartment there, and check out the local area's before we decide where we want to live. OR... I am going to my Mom's House in Saskatoon until we can get into a house (As the one we are interested in are still being built)!!! Dale is still working at his old/current job here and if anyone from his work asks what happened to his family? We are just going to say I got fed up and left!!!

So basically in 10 days (November 23rd) the movers are coming, we are storing our stuff and I as crashing at my Moms house until our new adventure begins, as if living at my moms isn't adventure enough!!!

Oh and since the number one question is How do the kids feel about all this? They are okay, they are very sad about leaving their friends, but they are very excited about all the things Vancouver has to bring. Plus, I am a very good salesman!!

Oh yes, one thing I have been told about moving out west is to have a guest room, as people tend to visit! Just keep in mind reservations maybe required!
