Well I decided to put off the Vancouver Aquarium (VA)until at least half way through the week. Just to stretch it out for as long as possible. Unfortunatly so did many many other families. We waited outside in the rain, not unusual. until almost at the gate I realized that there was a seperate line for members, or to purchase a membership, I'm a quick one thats for sure!! And lets just say the membership saved our day. It is not cheap to get in to the VA, $20/adult & $12/Child, & Kezia is free. it would be $56 for the day. or $115 for a year of unlimited visits, which me being cheap, or my preference frugal, really my only choice. Once we were inside it was so busy, I knew it would be but we still went, but with the pass I wasn't very concerned about getting my $56 dollars worth, I was like lets check it out, we can always come back!! We missed lots of stuff, but no big deal!! We saw Sharks, Fish from The Tropics, dolphins, sea lions, & beluga whales. we missed a tone of stuff but thats okay. They had a neat childs area, which Kezia took the lighted grid floor for a dance pad. Kids could touch different things, and then they had a learning centre for older kids. I think it will be better to explore when you can actually menuver around, with out the worry of either running over someone elses toddler or losing your own.
After that great experience we headed over to Dales office so he could have the pleasure of taking us for dinner. WE went ot the mall close by his work, and then we got the low down from Corbin on why the food court is a great place to eat... basicly everyone can have whatever they want.
Then in trying to avoid the rush hour traffic on our way home we stopped at Walmart. The joy of this is that there are only maybe 5 or 6 in all of BC, so it is a little thrilling. I was able to pick up Kezia some socks, as I am back into making the beaded ones for her. And then I had to try to keep up with Dale as I was following him home, the unfortunate part is it was Dark, raining and his car is black. the only way I can be for certain is because all of his windows are tinted, him rear brake light in the back window looks a little lighter than the others!!! But luckily I had MaDGE (Yes I have named my GPS) she helped me menuver a few roads. I am getting used to it more and More, and I can tell when she is going to take me on a strange ride, for instance on our way to the VA she took us into North Van, over one bridge, and back over the Lions Gate. Completely out of the way, but because it was still on the Highway it thinks it is a quick route. The kids didn't seem to mind as they like to go over the bridges. They are Huge! they Go way UP and you can see tons of stuff. Very Cool, I can't wait to take you over mom!!!! But MADGE always gets me there, so I follow it in faithful blindness.
We are just hanging out at home today, I have tons of Laundry to do... and walls to wash, but Kezia is down for a nap, so guess I'll join her!!

The Aquarium looks really fun. My kids would love it. We have one in Salt Lake that is in the works but still needs some wow factor.
I would Love to see the socks. They sound really fun.
