I picked me up a little something special yesterday at the airport!!!
Finally Shelby is here! Funny thing is when she got off the plane she was "Oh thank you for bringing me out here".. I'm thinking I hope that good attitude lasts, and since I haven't broken her yet.. It may stick around!
I am at 40weeks plus and probibly not the most pleasant person to be around especially since yesterday it has been 30 degrees C. It is soooooo hot. I am hiding in the basement, while shelby is catching a well deserved nap! She played with all the kids yesterday, and Kezia has taken a fancy to her. nice. She was up early this morning helping me get the kids ready for school, and helping out where she could, which was really nice of her, and if she is not careful I am going to cancel her return home ticket!!! But don't worry I am trying to keep her happy I took her for Gelato's today and then At my midwife appointment today she came and heard the baby's heartbeat, so all her hardwork is not with out reward!
Tonight we are going to take her to Allouette Lake, I am a betting woman that she will be in that water no matter how cold the water is!!! We would BBQ for supper but Dale has a church meeting tonight, and we are on our own!!

We have a few things planned, and either way Baby or no Baby(which is the way I think things are going to go!) WE'll be okay. The kids are off School on Monday, so we are going to head in to the city to the Aquarium, and maybe a picnic Lunch in Stanley park!
At my midwife today she gave me some crazy concoction to induce labour, which I may break down and take it next week, but it includes Castor oil, so I am not rushing into that! Yikes. I just can't believe I'm at the end. Denial is a good place to be, especially if your sister is here and your easily distracted!!!

Im so glad that you have help, and best of all someone you like. It's amazing how much aphra looks like her!!! Good luck we're thinking of you and hopefully this will all be over real soon...

Ah....the good old days of using castor oil...in the really olden days it was given to children because "they" thought it was good for them.....then with modernization it is said the only thing castor oil is good for is inducing labour.....Hang in there Anne!
So, basically, you have to get to a point where being pregnant is worse than taking Castor Oil. ;)

Ah yes, Castor Oil. I have heard the Castor Oil really does work, so it may be worth a try when you really feel you are seriously done. I was done two months before my due date, but you're way tougher than me Anne! And so fun that Shelby is there, I know how much I love to be around my sisters and sisters in law, so I know it has got to be lots of fun at your house right now! And I cannot wait to hear that your baby has arrived, any day now.....
