Once we were Edmonton Oilers Fans, but now we have to choose the home town team.
I'm not going to even mention my dabbling with the Leafs.
Seems like if we are going to make this our permanent home, we should change allegiance. And yes the fact that they are Freezing on the prairies, and it was a beautiful plus 8 sun-shiny day yesterday and expected to hit plus 12 next week. I'm not leaving.
So we are going to have to grow out of Oilers Jersey's and Dawn a new Day, a CANUCK day.
Before the season started Dale was able to score some Canucks tickets which are very hard to come by. So on Tuesday Night, off they went. They Took the Skytrain to the Arena, had supper downtown, and settled in to watch the Canucks beat the Stanley Cup Champions The Anaheim Mighty Ducks! They all had a great Time, And Corbin was loudly Cheering away!! Mahlon loved the Skytrain! They have tickets again for the spring!!!
We are now officially Canuck Crazy!!

I was a HUGE Oilers fan for a very long time. It had a lot to do with Mark Messier. But I too eventually converted to the Canucks when he changed teams. I used to watch hockey with my Uncle Mark but I haven't followed it for ages. I miss Don Cherry.
Heather You Rock!!! I knew there was Canadian blood in you!!
