I drove all by myself Saturday night into Downtown Vancouver. This is Huge!!!! I hate driving to where I could get lost, or Robbed. And really there were Huge Possibilities of either happening. You have to drive down Hastings Street, very dodgy to put it mildly, but then all of a sudden you come into downtown. Complete opposites. I’m looking at a very serious drug problem one minute and Heaven the next, AKA Chanel. Anyhow it was really easy to get to the Restaurant that we met at! Who is the WE?? None other than Lorena, my bestest friend from when I was growing up!!! And her Mom, who happened to be in town! Lorena’s family moved to Saskatoon from BC when we were in grade 4, and I followed her home, I do know you have to grab them early!!
She now lives the big city Life in Downtown Vancouver, which sounds pretty fun to me!! Lorena loves to travel, and as I found out early in my life, don’t watch national Lampoons European Vacation with her, unless you too have been there!!! So we met at this fabulous (I would call it cute, but I am trying to sound metropolitan) restaurant, Tapastree, on Robson Street (Very Hip!!!). It was great! We ordered a few different plates, and shared! The food was great! And we reminisced and Her poor Mother was brought up to speed on all the naughty things that we did when we were younger, lets just say caller ID would have put a damper on a lot of our after school Projects!!! Also it was good for me to remember, because the reality is Aphra is an angel compared to me!!! Then after Dinner we went back to her apartment where her Mom has bought Cupcakes from none other than CUPCAKES, Again very trendy! I am living the life people!!!
After we gorged ourselves (and by we I mean ME) on the cupcakes, we decided to take some pictures. We probably took at least 200 pictures, hooray for digital! This is mostly due to my vanity, as I hate pictures of myself, and there has to be at least 1 out of 200!! And Lorena is a total DIVA as you can see from the pictures! She hasn’t aged a bit, but she is NOT cute in anyway. She is a Beautiful, Busty, Daring, & Completely Outrageous & Very A Naughty Woman! She gets it from her Mom! I really had a great time; it was so nice to be with them again, Linda was like my second Mom growing up, not because she wanted me, but because I was always hanging around! What do you do when the riff raff won’t leave??!! And she was a cool mom then and now!
Also this weekend, Corbin has his cub car rally Saturday Morning. He made his car into a Remote Control this year, and he did okay. We didn’t have Bro. Gates here to graphite his wheels, next year! He designed it himself, and did lots of work on it,Corbin really loves cubs, and his cub pack here is run very well, I’m glad as we just left a great program, and it was one of my worries!
