We have been given a break from the cool weather & rain here, and it has been a beautiful few days to kick off our Easter Long Weekend! Dale came home early on Thursday and with the boys washed the car, for some reason this brought out most of the boys in the neighbourhood to watch. Kezia watched from her Porch Prison. There is a gate that slides across the top of the stairs so she can't get down, she hates it, but Mommy loves it!!!
We did some over due cleaning on Saturday, I put the troops to work, which actually worked quite well. Then we spent most of the day outside, The boys broke out the sprinkler, which again invited most of the boys into our yard, something I am just going to have to get used to.Also lesson learned if your kids head outside with a popcicle be prepared to share with everyone!!!! I think I am going to invest in Mini Freezies.
Today we are heading to Stanley Park, Mahlon bought a kite the other day and so we said we would take him somewhere to fly it. not sure if this is the best idea. It is supose to rain later today, hopefully the weatherman is wrong!!
Also I want to share my Gift Basket story.. When I was Younger My Auntie Patti & Uncle Alan moved into a house in Saskatoon, when they did their realtor gave them this beautiful gift basket. I remember looking through it. I have fond memories of it, and it wasn't even mine. So I have always had it in my head that this is what the realator should give(greedy I know, get over it). So we have bought 2 other houses and while I appreciate the gifts the realators gave us, they weren't gift baskets. Well our realator dropped off the most beautful gift basket for us, now he is on our Ward at Church, and I am sure that has something to do with it being extra beautiful, but serioiusly it's like all my childhood dreams came true. Seriously how sad is that??

Hi Anne!!! Your mom is here at my mom's house in Cardston and told me to go check out your blog. I will hopefully do one someday!!! It is so good to be able to see pictures of you and your family and read all about how you are doing!!!
I am actually due on April 25th with a girl!!! Your mom said that with every one of your pregnancies it has been a surprise to find out the sex of the baby?!!!! I couldn't stand not knowing what I am having!!!
I liked hearing about how much you liked your gift basket!! I think you probably knew that my husband, Troy, is a realtor and I make up gift baskets for his clients. I am actually on "maternity leave" for making the baskets right now. His office assistant is making them for a while until after the baby. I enjoy making them and love to hear feedback, but only hear it sometimes. I do different things like tiles with vinyl lettering on them with a quote or something on it, throws, candles, home sprays, and gourmet treats and drinks. All I can say is presentation is everything!!!
