We found lots of stuff, but no Sponge Bob!

Since we have no friends we are always trying to find fun stuff to do as a family. Before we moved here it was just a given that we would hang with the Courts Or We would walk over to Our Friends in Town, the Christ's or the Plett's, But now we have no one. And I should mention the no friend things is mostly by choice.

Anyhow Easter week end, on the Saturday we spent the day in Stanley Park. We took Dale to the Aquarium, again so happy I bought the year pass. And then we hung out because we paid $7 for a day of Parking, which ended up costing us tons of money becasue we ate, took the train ride, etc. But the kids loved it we hung out at the beach, and they had a great time looking for starfish, clams, the odd crab. I would just like to say to say it stinks. not sure if its my pregnancy or what but I was not thrilled with the smell.

When I finally decided that i got my $7 worth of Parking, we headed home, but we stopped at the Costco Downtown, It is the weirdest place it is right between BC place and GM place, under an over pass. But some one mentioned to Dale that it was a higher end Costco, so our Curiosity was peaked. So again we paid $2 for Parking

** Side note- you pay for parking everywhere, I have never paid for so much parking in my life, and it doesn't come cheap!!**

And toured Costco, it was pretty much the same as any other, but they did have some nicer stuff(And some very Well Dressed People), and they had these computers where you could order stuff from Costco.ca but that was it, So we finished our day off eating at the costco since we had some time to kill on the meter.

Then this past Saturday Corbin's Cub pack went on a bike ride, They had a great time. Dale and Mahlon went with, and Mommy stayed home. life is good.

Ok, Mahlons looks so grown up. How could he possibly have changed so much? It's only been 4 1/2 months. Although it feels like FOREVER! Can't wait to see everyone this summer.

You're a better and braver woman than I am, venturing out, while in late pregnancy, with small children, having fun family outings. I'm so huge right now that I only go as far as booting my kids out into the back yard, locking all of the doors, and making them have "fun" jumping on the trampoline until it's too dark to see anymore. If I'm feeling nice, sometimes I throw them a box of stale crackers for a snack....sometimes.-Heather
