And for the Name!!!!

Okay, We have had a name now since Monday.. the hold up? How to spell it? I won't disclose who wants it spelled which way, but lets just say it won't be determined until we have to submit the paper work, but until that time we are at a stand off, and I am trying to refrain from the whole "I was in labour for 16 hours, hello!!!! 16 Hours!!! " It is a bibical name, and one of us wants to drop the h off the end, and one of us wants to keep it. It only really matters to us, so I am at least going to share the name, and we can work out the final spelling in the next 28 days...

Tirza Marie Taylor

"Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah..."
Song of Solomon 6:4

We were prepared for a boy, not so much for a girl. We had a list on the fridge, but I really didn't give it much thought. I could go on here about the state of denial I was living in , but you've already got the point. Dale was the main researcher for the girls names, and he came home one day with Tirza (sounds like tear- za), It is realtively close to Kezia, but Dale was really pushing for it, plus something about at least getting to name at least one of our children, so who am I to argue. A friend of mine in Manitoba has a really nice, beautiful teenage daughter named Tirza, so it wasn't much of a stretch for me. And Marie is Dale's Mom's middle name, so it is nice to move onto other things like having Dale wait on me!

So what is the origin of Tirzah???

Tierza is THRILLED she has a baby named after her!! I dropped the H as well and added an E so that we wouldn't get TUR-zah. Gotta go as phonetically as possible or you're gonna get some REALLY bad pronounciations - trust me LOL!!
Congratulations!
She's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
