When I lived at home with My Parents, My Dad Liked to call my room "My Apartment". It had all the nessesities, A CD player, which at that time was cutting edge, My very own Phone line, And a few banned Items hidden under the bed. And I spent all my time in my room, I really had no reson to venture out and mingle with the rest of my house mates.
Well now that I have grown up, it seems I have a new Apartment. And it's new and Improved!! Near the end of my pregnancy my midwife said she wanted me to stay in bed for 3 days, and then on the fourth day I could go down the stairs once, and back up again. Once I stoped laughing, and gave it a moment to penatrate my thick head, I thought I could give that A try. Anyhow long story short... Not only did I stay in my room for 3 days, I am still finding myself hiding out here. I have everything I need(except food, but Dale has been bringing that)And here is where it gets good, I have a TV with DVD player, so cable or Movies??!, My Laptop, A Bathroom, a sitting area(My Glider), and a guest room (actually our closet but Mahlon has been using it to sleep in!)I can even keep my eyes on the kids when they are in the Park(Yes I am the crazy lady yelling from her window..."MAHLON!!"..."CORBIN!")
I love to come up here and feed Tirzah, It's just a nice quiet space that if you need me you have ot come and find me. and there is no traffic constantly passing through. Plus here I get to control the TV!!!

I'll have to come and find you sometime, and check out this fine appartment that you have been hiding in. Since i can only slide the meals under the door.

I just have to say I am so jealous! The only room in the house that has all of those things is our living room, and I have to share it with everyone else. Maybe that's why poor Finn stays up until all hours, he wants a room all to himself too, so he stays up until dawn for the peace and quiet.-Heather M.
I think the next thing to put in your room is a mini fridge with freezer so you can have your chocolate sundaes all you want. Sound like heaven. I use to have a room that I could hide out in then me and dumd ideas turn it into nap room for the daycare. Do you think all stuff would fit in a bathroom? Enjoy your time of quiety solitude, I know I would....
