Belfair State Park

Camp Taylor

To say we were packed in would be an understatement.



Although Dale & I both Agreed we did pack light. But really after, food, sleeping bags, air mattresses, and a tent. Really there isn't room for much else.

We Spent the first night at Belfair State Park in Washington. That is in the hood Canal (in case anyone cares). It was a nice little park and our first night the temperature was above 30degrees C .

We set up camp, Had dinner, and then walked down to the water. We played a little but everyone was ready for bed, had we known the temperature that was to come in Oregon we would have played ALL night.

It took me about 2 min to get over Tirzah being disgustingly filthy dirty all the time. I did bath her at night but that really only took off the top layer.

I was most worried about Tirzah sleeping at night, mostly that a) she wouldn't and b) it would be a 6am wake up call when she finally did. but She went to bed perfectly every night, way better than the others. And when she cried I grabbed her and slipped her between Dale & I, and she slept every morning until at least 8am. A little bit of heaven.

Then next morning we packed up & rolled out of there headed to the Coast!!!

But not before Mahlon said good bye to all his new friends.
