I never thought it would hit my home (okay and technically it didn't). We've all heard the stories.. Late nights... Midnight phone calls... Secret Hotel Rooms... Secret Friends... telling LIES... Can't seem to get enough... well it true... all of it! And She has connfessed to it all! Aphra Paige is an Addict.. and now she is in full recovery mode! Recovering From what you Ask... Habbo Hotel. And Let this be a lesson to All you good parents out there this could Happen to You!
While we were at my parents Home over spring break, Little Aphra and her Big Bad Uncle Michael ( okay okay, so he is not even a year older than her and he is not very big.. nor is he very bad, but it makes a better story) So the two buttheads.. (give me 2 min you'll agree) log onto this website Habbo Hotel, its a chat room for 13-20 year olds. Each setting up an account, which is virtual empty room.. get some credits and you get to decorate your own room! Sounds like Fun... right?! Some web sites have you play games to earn credits.. but not this SCAM job! for Habbo hotel... all you need to do is call from your home phone( in this case her Grandparents Phone!) and the little addict can get 15 credits for $3, and she can have all the virtual furniture her little 10 year old heart desires! And she had a pretty sweet set up. We haven't yet recieved the final bill for her late night scores, her grandpa gets that next billing period.. so until then she is living in lockdown rehab. The lesson in all of this is You should Always Listen to Your Mother... My mom specifically. She raised the warning flags and even told us not to let them play that web site but the two addicts assured us they were playing the free part.. so really who is the butthead???
