You’ll never believe this! While the Children and I were away for Spring Break the Bathroom Fairies came and renovated. Maybe I should say Elves, sorry Dale & Brian! After removing all the old rusted baby blue fixtures, and finding a window opening in the shower .They re-plumbed, re-dry walled and upon realizing someone didn’t measure the vanity properly, they moved a wall. And Presto (along with some Elf dust, although I suspect its drywall dust, because everything it touched did not turn fancy)... We have new Bathroom!Dales Dad came down from Edmonton as a co-contractor to the project, and the two of them worked very hard, and only when his time was done here did he return home to Paint his house! Thank You Grandpa!
We came home to beautiful new Bathroom, and everyone has had a bath in the new tub, Even Me! which has been transformed into a 21 inch deep soaker tub from a 16 inch rust bucket, which Corbin thinks is way too deep, although he doesn’t have to have it filled right up! It took Dale a few days to realize he couldn’t velvet rope the area off from us, so now he is willing to let us in, although reluctantly, and rightfully so.
So we can now cross the bathroom off our “to do” list! Anyone know how to do kitchens???
