Tid Bits

Here is a few thing that has happened over the past few days.. not exciting, but they are stuck in my Brain, so now I am sharing.

-I never thought $20 would bring so much Happiness. This Weekend I bought Mahlon a tini tiny pool. Just so he could play in. Once we had a bigger one but it was too much trouble to fill, and empty, and it killed the grass, blah blah blah. So I bought him this dinky pool. Then I bought him this wiggly Sprinkler, it’s like I put in an amusement park in the back yard. I haven’t seen my kids for days. Aphra’s out there, leading the pack. Who would have thought? I would have loved this set up all winter (just joking). Anyhow life is good. And Corbin has combined the Sprinkler, the Trampoline and Star Wars to create, no kidding, HOURS of Fun.

So I was enjoying watching him outside from my kitchen window, pondering how nice that moment was. The innocence of childhood. Endless hours of simple pleasure. Not a care in the world. I was loving it. Then Mahlon pops up beside me, and says all matter of fact”Corbin’s jumping with a Frog, he’s going kill it”. nice. But Corbin later assured me the frog jumped off; I’m too scared to look.

-The other Day Mahlon was running down the hall from his room, as he came into the Kitchen he was completely startled, by Kezia playing on the floor. He was spooked enough that he jumped quite a bit, looked at me and said”I thought it was a dog.” Then he took off outside.

-This Weekend is the Big Fair, and Aphra can not focus on anything else. It is all she talks about. All her possibilities of what friends, and where they can go. So At lunch she was going on and on and on... and I said “you think of nothing else, do you even know what today is?” She’s like “yes, it Friday-Saturday.” Ahhhhh!!! I can’t wait until Monday.
