BCE/CE

Sometimes I think I like to stay in my bubble.

Aphra has run into a small problem at school. She is studying ancient Religions and Cultures, and their beginnings.

When I grew up the time line ran AD and BC and things were like that until we moved here. Now I am not sure if I am just simply showing my ignorance, since I have not been in a classroom for many, many years. well before Political Correctness took it's tight grip over society.

But now AD and BC are unacceptable in Aphra's classroom. It is BCE & CE(Before Common Era, and Common Era)

Now, I know these terms are not new, but are they now standard everywhere?

This is all new to me.

Thanks for letting me know, now I will seem like the well educated mom that I am when Nolan studies this in school.

Been this way for about 15 years, common for the last ten I'd say...
