Grandparents & Potty Training!

I have been AWOL, but for good reason, my Mom & Dad along with Shelby and Michael were all out visiting. So I have lots to report on in the coming days! We are just hanging out waiting to take Mom & Michael to the airport later this morning. Dad left yesterday, and Shelby last week. But first there is more junk food to eat. not good.

Lots of stuff happened that I need to Blog about, Shelby, Aphra & Dad's Day trip to Vancouver. Snowboarding/skiing, USA Shopping, Squamish Day trip, and our new Party Deck!

But most exciting around here, for me at least, is Kezia is potty trained!! I am not even sure how it started, but a week later I am pretty confident to say she is good to go! I wasn't even going to attempt it until she turned 3, for my own sanity. She will be 2 1/2 next month! I hate potty training. But she showed some interest Monday, last week, so I went for it, not thinking it would really take. By Thursday Night was her last accident, and it was a doosie, with Aphra & Michael cleaning up a very nasty mess. But she is awesome!! Apparently she was ready as I didn't push it. I loaded her up with Juice every day, so she would have something to get rid of (I really think that is the trick!!). We bribed her with Candy, lot's of candy, and I kept switching it up to keep it interesting. And of course there was the pee pee on the potty song/dance.

Aphra & Corbin were horrific to potty train, Mahlon was the easiest to potty train and I thought Kezia would be the end of me, but it was awesome. She has even started sitting on the big potty. It's just too bad it was the week that my parents were here, because everything revolves around potty training. One day I stuck a diaper on her and took her out of the house for day trip shopping in the USA, and she didn't like it, but when we got home she went right back to the potty! No accidents (wets or stinkies)& dry all night!! One more to potty train, and I am not completely dreading it! yeah!!

Yeah Kezia, your a big girl now!! Anne you'll have to go out next time your in the US and buy some really cute girly underwear, that will be a big hit.
Toilet training I think is more stressful for parents rathe than kids.

What?? Kezia is potty trained!! That is so exciting, yet I am really jealous since Keston has completely back-tracked and does not give a hoot if his pull-up is dirty!! It is so frustrating!! Yeah for Kezia and you too Anne!!
