If It Looks Scary on the Outside... just wait until you go inside...
Okay, even as I write this I can't stop laughing. Apparently Halloween is a big deal around here. and on Thanksgiving day tons of people were NOT eating turkey, they were putting up their Halloween decorations.
I have never been into Halloween, and I never thought that I would be putting up decorations, but looky looky.
It all started with the kids being really excited about the neighbours putting up their decorations, and who can resist that.
So now I've turned my house into a freak show. and It's too much for me.
Although, from the inside at night when the purple lights above the front window... and the cob webs... it looks really cool.... the outside, not so sure.
Dale was out helping Aphra(the decorating master) when she announced that we would have to decorate the WHOLE house. not gonna happen sweetie.
Aphra is the General of the decorating, but not to worry she has many foot soldiers. Basically, most of the kids around here have come to help decorate. I was barely in the house today when I noticed 2 of Corbins friends were outside decorating on their own. nice.
Well now all we have to do is decide on what they are going to be for Halloween, and prepare for the 200plus kids to come and get their candy. like I said, It's all new to me, last year I think we got maybe 3 kids.

Your house looks awesome, I love it!!! I am not much of a decorator for Halloween myself, Christmas is when I really get into it. I do have my kids costumes already, which for me is a first, and we don't do much door to door trick or treating in our neighborhood, we usually end up at the ward house for a trunk or treat. They also have a fun thing on Main Street here where you can go from store front to store front getting candy from the owners, it's pretty fun. They close off the street and everything for it. Sounds like you are going to get a bunch of kids at your door there though, sounds like a lot of fun! I wish we had more kids come to our door, but not that many do these days it seems, at least here I should say.
Your house would be the first stop on our visit!! Way too cool- nice to see you all festive!
You really went all out! So fun! I like Halloween more now that I have children. I don't know why I drag them door to door. They want to go home and I beg them to continue trick or treating. What is fun about that?
heidi- I think we were seperated at birth... I drag my kids trick or treating until they CRY to go home. I am obsessed with getting more candy, People see 5 kids... I see 5 haloween candy footsoldiers
