Life's Good

There are just times when you have to stop all the craziness and just pause for a moment, and just breathe. I have always made a conscience effort at certain moments in my life to stop, and just take the moment in. I am then able to remember that exact moment. My wedding, during the labour of of each of my children, When our house was all packed, and as I stood in my empty house in Manitoba and just various moments I want to remember.

Today seems to be one of those days, I'm just enjoying life. It has a lot to do with the family pictures we had taken yesterday. I am just so excited about them. I don't have them yet to share, but I saw them this morning and they are awesome!!! He was able to capture our each of our kids beautifully.

Last Thanksgiving, one year ago, we sold our house. It's weird to think that a whole year has gone by. Dale had interviewed out here and things were looking Really good to get the job. But he hadn't signed a contract, but we went ahead and sold the house and made all the arrangements necessary for us to come out here. We didn't tell anyone in Winnipeg, as we weren't really sure what was going to happen, And we had enough pressure from those who did know. So last Thanksgiving we sold our house, and a year later here we are! I loved our life in Manitoba, and I miss it. But I really love our Family, and I think we would be okay anywhere.

I try to remember to take a minute and pause amidst the crazy commotion over here too. This time is so short with them little. They get big so fast. I swear it can't really have been 15 years that has passed, Dylan was a baby not THAT long ago, wasn't he?
