While we were over In Langley today we decided to try to find the Temple grounds. They announced the Temple June '06, And this was a huge part of us 1) moving out here and 2) moving to Maple Ridge.
My brain can't wrap itself around the fact that we will live 11.2 Km from a temple. The only obstacle now is the traffic. We weren't really sure where it was before, and we haven't been to Langley in the daylight. Although we forgot the GPS we managed to find it, and we were just so amazed at how close it to us.
Apparently, we have forgotten to talk to the kids about this(or they have forgotten to listen), and Corbin was "A TEMPLE!!!" They were all pretty excited!! So we spent a few moments there Talking about what this means to our Family.
It was just a reminder that I can talk myself blue in the face, but until they saw it, it just didn't click.
We were so fortunate to live in Saskatchewan as the temple was built there, It was just an Amazing Experience, and we get to do it again!!

I have now lived in Utah long enough to forget that I should not take the temple being so close for granted. Who knew I would end up living in Utah? Not me, that's for sure, but I really do love it here!
Anne once the Temple is finished; I see many date nights in your future. Aphra and Corbin (when older) will be able to do baptisms, got to get on with the genology for Dales family.
